Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We only collect what is strictly needed for the service to work:

• •Your email (to sign in and send important account notices).
• •The public iCal links you connect to your properties (Airbnb, Booking, VRBO or others).
• •Bookings extracted from those iCal links: check-in/check-out dates, guest name as it appears on the platform, internal booking identifier.
• •Optional information: your property names, your cleaning team's contact details, message templates you create.
• •Browser push notification subscription, if you enable it (needed to receive alerts).

We do not collect platform passwords, guest payment data, or any sensitive information.

2. Why we collect it

We use your data only to provide HostPulse's features: unified calendar, empty-night alerts, check-in/check-out reminders, and cleaner coordination. We never sell your data and we never use it for advertising.

3. Where data is stored

Data is stored in Postgres databases hosted by Neon (https://neon.tech), and the application is served by Vercel (https://vercel.com). Both are reputable providers with EU infrastructure. HostPulse only reads the public iCal links — it never has access to your Airbnb/Booking/VRBO account.

4. Your rights (GDPR)

As an EU user, you can request at any time:

• •Access to all data we hold about you.
• •Correction of incorrect data.
• •Full deletion of your account and all associated data.
• •Export of your data in a readable format.

5. Cookies

HostPulse only uses one essential cookie to keep your session signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we notify active users by email before the changes take effect.
